Christmas

If someone asked me how I would describe Carnival  in Malaga, I would definitely use the words - extremely colorful, joyful, rich in events and unusual costumes :) I will not lie to say that the week of the carnival fiesta makes a real impression, especially when you participate in it for the first time.

Carnival takes place in the run-up to Lent. At the same time, it reminds everyone that these are the last days of winter, as well as expectations  for the next big event, which is Semana Santa . The street celebration definitely woke him up  residents,  as well as the city itself  after a cooler aura  it has become vivid and colorful again.

It is a time filled with music from groups of several people that you can meet  both on the main street, Calle Larios, and "in the corners" of small streets. Each of the bands attracts a large group of viewers, engrossing practically everyone in the atmosphere of the Carnival, and additionally infecting them with good humor.

Certainly not one person will smile as well  at the sight of elaborate costumes  and remarkably dressed children and (to my surprise) adults. It is an interesting picture  and an admirable custom.

The competitions, or rather their participants, who fight for the title of "God" and the King of Carnival with gigantic costumes are also really impressive. T riumfatorzy participate in a big,  a several-hour parade that goes through the streets of the city and is accompanied by the atmosphere of a real Latin fiesta filled with music, dances  and fun.

I recommend it to anyone who wants to have fun and celebrate these joyful and colorful moments.
