El Rincon del Queso 

There are places in Malaga where you can meet the real Spanish (or even Malagian) openness and cordiality of the people who live here. There are also those where you will always receive a dose of positive energy through conversation or the atmosphere of the place (see the unique El Ultimo Mono)  And there are those that will make you feel at home, like in a small town where everyone knows you;)

You will find all this and much more in  El Rincon del Queso .... in an (un) ordinary shop with traditional Spanish delicacies.  

Every tourist (not to mention residents from other countries) should get to know what is best in Spain / Málaga, namely the flavors that hide regional cheeses, Jamon hams or wines. We can taste them in virtually every restaurant, but if you would like to try something more, buy it and take it on a trip, there is no better shop - restaurant, like El Rincon del Queso.  

Initially, it was a small shop, which over time was moved to another place and enlarged by a small pub, because the number of people arriving for shopping and staying there for hours did not fit into a small room.

You will not find this place in guides or rankings for the most popular places in Malaga, only local residents know it (which can be seen in the crowds of people). You will not find a staff of waiters or service there, after all, it is an ordinary shop run by one grandfather (unfortunately I do not know the name to this day, because for me it was always my grandfather's shop;) However, it cannot be called an "ordinary" shop, where you are served like everywhere. Here, each client is treated individually, like an old acquaintance with whom you can talk, joke, drink a glass of wine and eat a piece of cheese. Here, the whole unusual atmosphere, the Spanish atmosphere, a volcano of positive energy and openness are introduced by one always smiling man - an orchestra man, who serves customers at tables, at the counter, serves a soup based on wine (delicious;), slices ham and cheese, or recommends a bottle of good wine and has many such treasures.  

You don't know cheese or wine?  Here you will always be served first so that you can taste what you want to buy or simply decide what type of cheese you prefer, at what price and what kind of ham you prefer, all with a glass of wine included in the price;) I especially recommend you cheese with oranges (queso) con naranja) - my favorite !, white cheese with quince marmalade (queso blanco con membrillo), old cheese (queso viejo), or green cheese with avocado, or red cheese with tomatoes, and wine of course Pinturas;) Perfect for romantic evenings or meeting friends!  

I promise that you will be enchanted by the magic of this place and the proverbial grandfather. I warn you that you will want to come back there more than once, like all my guests. I promise you will come out of there with a smile on your face and full of positive energy and will to live.
