Iznajar

Iznajar is a small town in the province of Córdoba, about 80 km from Málaga, which cannot be missed on your tour of Andalusia.

It is only 5 thousand. the town was transformed several years ago due to the creation of a retention reservoir through  joining the dam and reservoir construction program in Andalusia.  As a result, Iznajar obtained a quay that stretches for about thirty kilometers and contains an estimated 900 million cubic meters of water.  

In addition to the stretching reservoir, and thus amazing views, the biggest attraction of the city are the ruins of a 1,200-year-old castle and a church  Iglesia de Santiago, built during the 15th and 16th centuries. The miateczko itself is a tangle of small, white ones

streets with charming blue streets typical of the province of Cordoba.  

Iznajar is worth visiting, for example, on the way to Cordoba. The views of the city and the reservoir are impressive and you will definitely spend a few hours there;)
