La Farola de Orellana

It's not easy to get here (I passed this place myself for 3 years, once living next door). Why? Small, typical Spanish corner bar, inconspicuous… and it should.

It's a very traditional place, with just a few seats at the bar and out. You eat here typically Andalusian - standing in the crowd, because it is almost always crowded. No wonder Spaniards love such places and come here willingly. The food is very good, outside, usually served as tapas and good prices are affordable

(from € 1.80 / € 2.50 for tapas portions). I recommend in particular the prawns (gambas pil pil), eggplant with goat cheese and everything you will see on the bar;)

I can safely call this place one of the best tapas bars in the center of Malaga. Do not be put off by these crowds, wait - not only to taste traditional Malagian food but also to feel the extraordinary atmosphere typical of such places here.

I eat here often, usually at lunchtime, so I can honestly recommend it for lunch or dinner in the form of tapas with a glass of wine, or tinto de verano.

La Farola de Orellana restaurants can be found on the main pedestrian street of Malagu Larios Calle Moreno Monroy 5.
