Nerja

Nerja is one of those places that should become a must of every tourist arriving to Malaga or the Costa del Sol.

The small village located 50 km from Malaga, which despite the vibrant tourism development, has retained much of its old charm and customs. It is one of the white coast cities with narrow streets, all decorated with beautiful flowers.

The main point of the resort is the Balcon de Europa - extended into the sea rocky viewpoint and promenade, built on the site of the old Moorish castle. From the old town we come to the rocky coast and a little smaller, secluded beaches (Playa Calahonda and the Playa El Chorillo), located between the rocks. You will find a sight better sand and clean water, allowing for diving.

One of the most famous attractions of Nerja is situated about 4 km from the city group of caves Cueva de Nerja. There is a enormous 32 - meter high column, which supposedly  needed a trillion drops of water to crystallization. In summer, in the cave take place concerts and performances. The place is also famous for the largest stalactite in Spain.
