Playa de Bolonia

Beach de Bolonia is one of the most beautiful beaches of Andalusia and the province of Cadiz, which in 2016 was awarded the title of the best beach in Spain (obtain  17778 votes), being also one of the top 25 beaches in Europe according to TripAdvisor.

It's hard to disagree with this opinion. One of the last pristine beaches untouched by civilization, high-rise hotels or cheap tourist attractions. You can only find nature and here  over 4 km of golden sand, along with a phenomenal moving dune at over 30 m high, which  it is a natural monument and surrounded by a pine forest  additionally protects the beach from northern winds.  Moreover, the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean make you feel like

in Paradise :)

Bologna is a famous fishing village 20 km from Tarifa  from tuna fishing, but not only. This small settlement was already appreciated by the Romans by bringing in the town of Baelo Claudio , the ruins of which are preserved in a very good condition,

perfectly showing the organization of the Roman city. Admission to  excavations  archaeological  it's free and the entrance is right on the beach.

Beach de Bolonia is 180 km from Málaga - 2 hours by the AP7 motorway. It is certainly a route worth taking, the wonderful surroundings will reward you with the time you spend in the car  :) and by the way, I recommend visiting Gibraltar

and Tarifa.
