Mercado central
Mercado Central de Atarazanas is one of the iconic places in Malaga and it was hard for me to put in the category of simply shops. However call them for sure this is no ordinary market or greengrocer. We can safely say that this is the attraction of Malaga, which lets you get to know the Spain.
Open from Monday to Saturday, from morning until about 14.00 attracts not only locals but also many tourists. You will find there a carefully arranged fresh fruits and vegetables - these typically Spanish, and more. In addition, you will have the opportunity to see rare in Poland, seafood and impressive size of the fish.
Not everyone knows that Monday is a day off from fishing, which is why I do not recommend choose fish department in Tuesdays ;) Market is also a great opportunity to get to know the Spanish culture and used to preview what the Spanish have in the fridge. Is a place where you'll see all kinds of cheese, jamon serrano, olives, nuts or almonds, which you can go ahead and try.
Being in Malaga necessarily see the Mercado Central, not only for tourism, but also the purchase of Spanish dishes;)
Market can be found on Calle Atarazanas (near Calle Larios). Map here.
